Portfolio Rose Molina Barrios is a multidisciplinary artist and educator with over 25 years of international experience in freediving, dance, yoga, and performance art. A certified Freediving Instructor Trainer (Molchanovs & SSI) and RYT 500 Advanced Yoga Teacher, she brings together movement, breath, and presence in ways that transcend the surface. Her roots lie in professional dance and training under the visionary choreographer Pina Bausch, where she learned that creativity is limitless. Years later, her encounter with freediving opened the gateway to the underwater world, where nature became her new stage. Portfolio As one of the pioneers of underwater dance, Rose has developed a unique movement language below the surface. She guides models, dancers, and performers to embody fluidity, presence, and grace underwater—connecting with both the poetry and the technique of moving in water. She collaborates with filmmakers, photographers, brands, and creatives, working as an underwater model, dancer, and stunt artist to create performances that reveal the beauty, power, and fragility of the aquatic world. Portfolio Rose has collaborated on projects ranging from theater and film to fine art photography, immersive installations, and site-specific performances in oceans, cenotes, and underwater caves. Her practice also extends to yoga and sound, where she creates ceremonies and soundscapes in natural environments, blending vibration, breath, and movement into transformative experiences.
