Instructor Course - Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an elite freediver to join this course?
No. You do need solid Wave 3 (or equivalent) skills and comfort with depth and technique. The course is designed to help you refine these skills and build your teaching capacity. It’s not about being the best diver— it’s about becoming the best teacher.
What if I don’t complete all requirements during the course?
You have up to 1 year to meet all certification requirements. Rose will support you with a clear path to complete anything pending after the training.
Is the course only for those wanting to teach professionally?
While it is a professional-level certification, many join this course to deepen their knowledge, refine their skills, or prepare for future goals—even if they don’t plan to teach right away.
What’s the group size?
Rose works with small groups to ensure personalized attention. This setting allows for meaningful development of your unique teaching style and plenty of in-water time.
Where is the course held?
In the stunning cenotes of the Riviera Maya, Mexico. Expect exceptional visibility, peaceful conditions, and unique geological formations that create a perfect environment for learning and deep diving.
What is included in the course price?
Park/pool fees, transportation from the training base, snacks, and course materials. You’ll need to bring your own freediving equipment—contact us if you’re missing something and we’ll help organize rentals.
Is the course taught in English or Spanish?
Rose teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, and German. Let us know your language preference.
Can I take the course if I am not an Molchanov/SSI-certified diver?
Yes, equivalent certifications from other recognized agencies (like PFI, AIDA) are accepted. Contact us to confirm your eligibility.
